We started Zaika because restaurants in Nepal deserved better than spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and software that treats a second branch as an afterthought.
Our mission
One realtime backbone, for restaurants of every size
Large chains have always had custom-built systems tying orders, kitchen, stock and staff together. Everyone else has been stuck stitching together a POS, a spreadsheet and a notebook by the till. Zaika gives a single café the same realtime operating backbone — orders, KDS, tables, staff, billing and inventory in one tenant-isolated platform — and lets it scale to ten branches without switching systems.

We're building Zaika for restaurants and bars in Nepal — where we live, eat and know the operators. Every decision, from NPR-first billing to a roadmap that leads with Nepal IRD e-invoicing, is made for this market, not adapted from somewhere else.

Realtime by default
Orders, tickets and tables update the moment something happens. If a screen needs a manual refresh, we consider it a bug.

Every restaurant's data is strictly isolated, every action is permission-gated, and branch confinement is enforced on reads and writes alike.
Local-first billing
Tax and service charge follow Nepal's rules — NPR and Nepal VAT today, with IRD e-invoicing on the way.

A small, distributed team shipping fast
We're a small team based in Kathmandu, working closely with the first restaurants on the platform. We're not actively hiring yet — but we're growing, and we'd love to hear from engineers, hospitality operators and sales folks who want in early. Open roles will be posted here.
